Donate by e-Transfer
Prefer online banking?
You can send an e-Transfer directly to donate@manitobacamping.ca through your personal banking app or website. It’s a quick and easy way to make an impact from anywhere.
Donate by Phone or Mail
If you would rather donate by phone or send a cheque through the mail, we’re happy to help. Simply contact our office for assistance or mail your donation directly to us. Every gift, big or small, helps make camp possible for more children and families.

Monthly Giving
TWO DIFFERENT WAYS TO GIVE MONTHLY
Becoming a monthly donor is a great way to contribute to camp year-round! Automatic giving is the perfect way to spread a larger donation out over a period of time or to simply continue to give without having to manully remember each time. Monthly donations also create a regular source of revenue throughout the year to help with regular MCA expenses. Below you will find two different options for monthly giving.
PAR Automatic Withdrawal
PAR is a way to have a monthly donation withdrawn from your selected bank account (typically on the 18th or 20th of the month).

To get started, please complete a simple form and provide a VOID cheque or a photo of one. Once you have both items ready, email them to donate@manitobacamping.ca. We will take care of the rest and set you up for monthly withdrawals. You will receive an email with the date of the first withdrawal in advance.

Minimum monthly donation $20.
CREDIT CARD Through Canada Helps
You can easily set up Monthly Donations through our Canada Helps portal. Simply follow the link below to access the Canada Helps website, where you can enter your desired donation amount and create a schedule that works best for you. You will need to provide your credit card information, and the charges will appear as "Canada Helps" on your statements.

There is no minimum donation requirement.
Honour & Memory Giving
A GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING
IN HONOUR
Celebrate a birthday, milestone, retirement, or special achievement by making a gift in someone’s honour. It’s a thoughtful way to recognize the people who have made a difference in your life while giving that same joy to campers.
IN MEMORY
Honour the memory of a loved one with a donation that continues their legacy through the gift of camp. These contributions help carry forward their spirit by supporting children and youth experiences that build confidence, connection, and community.
Donations can be made online by credit card through CanadaHelps. When completing your donation, simply add “dedication” before adding the gift to your giving basket so we can properly recognize your tribute. Same steps for in honour and in memory.

You may also give by cheque. Please include a note indicating whether the gift is “In Honour” or “In Memory,” along with the name of the individual you are recognizing.
Stocks & Securities
When you make a gift of securities to Manitoba Camping Association, you are entitled to a donation receipt for the full market value (resale) of your contribution. Your gift of securities will result in a generous, non-refundable tax credit . You can use your tax credit in the year of your gift or carry it forward for up to five additional years.

Donating securities directly to Manitoba Camping Association maximizes the return on your investment, protects the tax credits for use against other taxable income, and there is no capital gains tax on the appreciated value (increased price) of your securities.
Planned Giving
One of the most thoughtful ways to ensure Manitoba Camping Association continues to help kids experience camp is to leave a planned gift. This selfless gesture will help create many unforgettable experiences in the lives of campers for years to come.
BEQUESTS & WILLS
You can name the residue of your Estate in whole or as a proportion using percentages. The residue is what remains after taxes, administrative expenses and your heirs have received their specific gifts or proportion. An advantage is that as your circumstances change, your Will does not have to be altered, as the proportion remains the same.
Sample Wording | Version 1
“I bequeath the residue of my Estate (or _______% of the residue of my Estate) to The Manitoba Camping Association & Sunshine Fund, located at Unit 6 - 1110 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg, MB R2G 1L1”
Another way is to name a specific amount.

Endowment Fund
The gift that continues to give stability to the organization into the future.
​
An endowment fund is a financial gift that never stops giving. The principal amount of your gift never changes, rather the money is invested and the interest earned every year is disbursed to the Sunshine Fund. Over the years, the amounts gifted to the Sunshine Fund will surpass the original contribution and the annual interest gift will continue in perpetuity.
