Aid for Adults who interact with Youth (aged 12-24) is a 14-hour course that
discusses the following mental disorders:
substance use disorders
deliberate self injury
Crisis first aid skills for the following situations are learned:
acute stress reaction
Anyone can benefit from learning Mental Health First Aid. This course teaches first aid skills to help someone who is developing mental health problems or is experiencing a mental health crisis.
Speakers provide public information sessions on a range of topics relating to
personal and family experiences with mood disorders.
