Inclusion
According to the MCA Standards Manual, camps are required to have policy and procedures in place to address campers with special needs (for example behaviour, emotional, physical, cogntive).
Inclusion policy and procedure should address adaptations and modifications to programming due to the site, facilities, programs and other resources. When developing inclusion policy and procedure refer to the Manitoba Human Rights Commission.
Training and Education is also important for working with campers with special needs. Click here for training opportunities.
