MCA Coffee Break

November 1, 2024

Online via Zoom

MCA Coffee Break is back with our special guests from Manitoba Public Health. This is one Coffee Break you don’t want to miss. Through conversations with the Manitoba Government, the MCA Standards Committee has had some great conversations with Public Health, mostly due to the changes in the Recreational Act earlier this year at the end of June. There are two big things that have come from this, and one is our upcoming Coffee Break. Kathleen Martin will be joining us for the November 1 Coffee Break. She is a public health inspector with experience with recreation camps in the Northern Region of Manitoba. She has recently filled a new position of Program Coordinator within the Health Protection Unit, in which Recreation Camps is one of the portfolios. Join us at 9:30 am on November 1, 2024, for our next Coffee Break, where she will discuss the past, present and future of all things recreational camp from a Manitoba Health perspective. There will be at least one other staff from the Health Protection Unit joining us a well. A link for the Zoom will be available closer to the date.
