Camps with Meaning is sponsored and supported by the almost 40 churches that make up Mennonite Church Manitoba. Our Anabaptist roots are expressed in our music, worship, and Bible teaching, but also in the many ways we work at connecting our campers and staff to each other, to creation and to God through fun and challenging activities and diverse and meaningful relationships.

We offer week-long summer camps at two locations for children and youth of all ages and adults with different abilities, including day camps and canoeing out-trips. Camp Assiniboia is situated next to the Assiniboine River just 20 minutes west of Winnipeg and offers a high ropes course, horseback riding, a swimming pool, a teaching garden and farm, with 99 acres of forest for walking, exploring and camping out. Camp Koinonia lies in the southwest corner of the province on the shores of Max Lake in Turtle Mountain Provincial Park and offers a climbing wall and zipline, canoeing and swimming, and a more rugged camping experience.

MISSION - Play a leadership role in promoting and supporting the community of organized camps, encouraging the growth and recreational experiences for children, youth and families.

VISION - To be the recognized leader in the Manitoba camps community.
